The Wilson Education and Mental Wellness Foundation Inc. provides grants and distributions to individuals and qualifying organizations that align with our mission of supporting education, mental wellness, and access to community-based sports and recreation programs.
Purpose: Supports individuals pursuing careers in public service fields, including first responders, emergency medical services, mental health, social work, education, and community leadership by covering tuition and program-related costs at accredited institutions.
Purpose: Provides financial assistance for individuals pursuing mental health education, wellness certification programs, trauma-informed care training, and other fields related to community well-being.
Purpose: Helps individuals from economically disadvantaged backgrounds access higher education, vocational training, or professional certifications to enhance career opportunities and improve community resilience.
Purpose: Provide small grants to community organizations and youth sports teams to assist with costs for coaches, coaching mentorship programs, equipment, uniforms, registration fees, facility maintenance, transportation, and other essential needs.
Purpose: Provide financial assistance to individual athletes who lack the resources to participate in organized sports to include, registration fees, equipment, uniforms and meals.
The President Christine Wilson and the Wilson Education and Mental Wellness Foundation Board reviews and approves all requests.
